FAQ

> Are your dolls made for children?

No, my dolls (and ornaments) are art pieces and are for display purposes only.
Please keep out of reach of children (ages 12 and under) and pets.

My dolls all feature buttons on their arms, as well as other small parts.
The faces are also sprayed with an acrylic fixative to reduce any fallout from the colored pencil pigment.

> Where do you ship to?

I ship to the United States though USPS.
I ship to Canada, Central/South America, Oceania, and Europe through DHL.
Regional duties may apply.

> What are your shipping policies?

To view all of my shipping policies, including cancelations and returns, please review the links under "Terms of Service" in the footer menu (bottom left).

> What packaging do you use?

Dolls come loosely gift wrapped with brown paper inside a 12x6x4 inch or a 9x6x4 inch box.
It is recommended to keep the packaging inside of the box, or transferred to another box of similar size, if gifting to someone.

Ornaments, other textiles, and doll accessories come gift wrapped with brown paper inside a 6x6 box.

A majority of the packaging is recyclable/reusable.

> What materials do you use?

Doll Bodies and Ornaments: GOTS certified organic cotton, which I leave either plain, or hand-dye with coffee, black tea, black walnuts, or an eco dye.

Doll Hair: varieties of wool, including Merino and Corriedale, and plant fibers, such as flax and hemp. The Merino and Corriedale wools I purchase are hand-dyed.

Doll Clothing: a variety of cotton fabric, primarily in 1800's reproduction prints, batiks, Japanese cotton, as well as linen and muslin.

Accessories: found objects, dried organic material, hemp, scrap crafting materials, repurposed buttons, and random beads I have collected over the years.
Illustrations: micron pen, colored pencils, and permanent, acrylic fixative.

> How do I care for my textiles?

Although pen and ink features are covered with a permanent, acrylic fixative, they will bleed if in direct contact with liquids, and therefore CANNOT be washed by machine or by hand.
Avoid direct sunlight to reduce fading and to preserve the integrity of the materials.
To remove any dust, pieces may be lightly brushed off with a clean and dry 1-2 inch paintbrush.

> Do you offer custom dolls?

I occasionally offer custom doll spots.

Please check the "Custom Orders" page in the main menu for more details.
